From tight-head to open-head and stackable square drums. Core-pull and deflash packages follow the mouth style.
Single-ring / double-L-ring tight-head drum molds

Single-ring / double-L-ring tight-head drum molds are used to produce 100–250L mainstream plastic tight-head drums for hazardous goods packaging, widely applied in the chemical, coatings, lubricant, pesticide, and pharmaceutical industries for liquid packaging and transport. The drum body can be designed with a single or double opening, with the drum neck thread and top/bottom reinforcing rings integrally molded for high structural strength and excellent sealing performance, meeting UN 1H1 liquid packaging standards. Mold design focuses on neck thread precision, reinforcing ring structure, uniform wall thickness, and sealing fit to ensure impact resistance, stacking strength, and leak-free performance — ideal for high-volume standardized production.

Large-open-top clamp-lid drum molds
Large-open-top clamp-lid drum molds are used to produce 50–220L open-top plastic drums, widely applied in the packaging, storage, and transport of powders, pastes, and viscous materials in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, coatings, and daily chemical industries. These drums feature a large opening designed to work with clamp lids or locking rings, making filling and dispensing easy. Mold design focuses on the lid rim structure, clamp fitting surface, stacking registers, and sealing fit between drum opening and lid to ensure tight locking, reliable sealing, and stable stacking. Overall advantages include a large opening, easy handling, and suitability for various materials — ideal for high-volume, standardized production.
20–60L stackable drum / square drum molds
20–60L stackable drum / square drum molds are used to produce small and medium-capacity plastic drums, widely applied in workshop turnover and the packaging and transport of coatings, cleaning agents, and chemical additives. The drum body can be designed with handles, graduations, anti-slip bases, and stacking structures for easy handling, measuring, and stacked storage, saving warehouse space. The mold can support multi-layer co-extrusion to improve barrier properties and chemical resistance, and can be matched with dual-station machines to increase production efficiency and reduce unit cost. Overall advantages include practical structure, strong adaptability, and high production efficiency — ideal for high-volume production of chemical, daily chemical, and industrial turnover packaging.
Other Blow-Molded Drums (Including IBC Containers)
In addition to tight-head drums, open-top drums, and stackable drums, blow-molded drums also include IBC containers, chemical drums, food-grade drums, pharmaceutical drums, lubricant drums, paint buckets, and sanitation bins. IBC containers hold around 1,000L and are commonly used for bulk chemical and liquid transport, usually with a metal frame or plastic pallet. Chemical drums offer corrosion and chemical resistance for acids, alkalis, and solvents. Food-grade drums meet food-contact standards for edible oil, soy sauce, and drinking water. Pharmaceutical drums use hygiene-grade designs for APIs and intermediates. Lubricant drums are commonly 4L, 10L, or 20L with handles and spouts. Paint buckets are typically 5–20L with lid rims or clamps. Sanitation bins range from 60–360L for municipal cleaning and waste sorting. These blow-molded drums can be selected flexibly based on capacity, material characteristics, packaging standards, and transport methods.

Why a blow-molded pallet program
Accumulator-head blow molding forms a sealed hollow body and ribs in one shot — built for drop, impact, moisture and low temperature.
√ Corrosion-Resistant Steel and Surface Treatment
Chemical drums come into contact with corrosive materials such as acids, alkalis, and solvents. Mold steel must be corrosion-resistant, and cavity surfaces should be polished, chrome-plated, or nitrided to extend mold life and ensure a smooth inner drum surface.

√ Uniform Wall Thickness Control
Chemical drums are large and thick-walled. The mold must precisely control parison thickness and blow-up ratio to ensure uniform wall thickness across the body, bottom, and neck — avoiding weak points that could cause leakage or insufficient strength.

√ Neck Thread and Sealing Structure
The neck thread, sealing surface, and lid fitting structure must be molded with high precision to ensure reliable sealing and leak-free performance, meeting the strict requirements of hazardous goods packaging.
√ Reinforcing Rings and Structural Strength
Reinforcing rings or L-ring structures are typically added at the top and bottom of the drum. The mold must ensure these rings are fully formed with high structural strength, improving impact resistance and stacking capability.

√ Cooling System and Cycle Time
Chemical drums are large and thick-walled, so the cooling system must be uniform and efficient to shorten cycle time and reduce deformation, sink marks, and internal stress.

√ Stacking and Anti-Slip Structure
The mold can be designed with stacking registers, anti-slip bases, and positioning structures to ensure stable stacking and safe transport, meeting warehousing and logistics requirements.

Configurable Mould Parameters
Typical ranges only. Final build follows part size, resin grade and target output. Part size determines mold structure and machine tonnage; resin grade determines steel and runner system; target output determines tool life and steel grade. Cooling, surface finish, lead time and budget should also be confirmed together.

Mold + machine pairing
In the production of large hollow products such as blow-molded pallets, the match between mold and machine directly affects production efficiency and product quality. Based on three core parameters — accumulator head capacity, clamp force, and platen size — we match the most suitable large blow molding machine for each customer, ensuring a high degree of compatibility between mold and equipment.

We provide not only molds, but a complete mold-and-machine matching solution — confirming accumulator capacity, clamp force, and platen size item by item to ensure efficient coordination between equipment and mold, helping customers avoid detours and start production quickly.
√ Accumulator Head Capacity Matching
Based on pallet weight, wall thickness, and parison size, we calculate the required accumulator capacity to ensure sufficient extrusion per shot, avoiding short shots, uneven wall thickness, or molding defects.

√ Clamp Force Matching
Based on the pallet's projected area and blow pressure, we calculate the required clamp force to avoid flash from insufficient clamping or wasted energy from excessive clamping.
√ Platen Size Matching
Based on mold dimensions and mounting method, we verify platen size, tie-bar spacing, and mounting hole positions to ensure smooth machine setup.

√ Shorter On-Line Commissioning
Through precise machine matching and mold design coordination upfront, we reduce repeated adjustments after machine setup, shorten commissioning time, and help customers start production faster with lower trial-and-error costs.
