Working Principle, Sequence Control
Sequence controllers use mechanical linkage or friction principles to keep the mold closed during the initial opening stage, unlocking and opening only after reaching a set stroke. This sequence control function ensures:
Runner plate opens first in three-plate molds, pulling off the sprue
Sliders delay retraction to avoid interference with ejector pins
Small parting surface opens first in inverted molds, followed by large parting surface
