The latch lock controls the mold opening sequence through mechanical linkage between the latch pin and hook. During the initial opening stage, the latch pin engages with the hook, keeping the mold closed. When the opening stroke reaches a set distance, the latch pin disengages from the hook under the guidance of the guide groove, allowing the mold to open sequentially. This mechanical control method offers high reliability and strong load capacity, particularly suitable for:
Sequential opening of three-plate mold runner plate: Runner plate opens first to pull off the sprue, followed by cavity plate opening
Delayed slider action: Controls slider delay to avoid interference with ejector pins
